This was such a wonderful, joyful, and beautiful summer wedding down in Wilmington, NC! I loved photographing this happy couple and I really delight in all the beautiful moments and thoughtful details. My favorite parts of the day included: all of the bride’s friends coming early to hang out during getting ready; the sweet ceremony overlooking the Cape Fear Country Club golf course; the ridiculously pretty florals designed by Jennifer over at Salt Harbor Designs; digging up the bourbon (which must have worked because the weather that day was FLAWLESS!); seeing the groom’s face when the bride surprised him with a groovy cigar and bourbon bar; guests being crazy and dancing like loons; and simply being present with my camera(s) to document all the joy and excitement of the day. It was all just such a treat, and I feel so happy for this kind and warm couple.
I loved working alongside Sara from Salt Harbor Design, she and her team did such an amazing job coordinating the day and making everything look and feel so relaxed and easy.
A few other all-star vendors to mention are Little Green Booth with their super cute photo booth, the lovely cake by One Belle Bakery, videography by Lifestage Films (you can peek at this couple’s wedding video here), hair by Melissa Kinnamon, and makeup by Michal Cheshire.
Images captured on the Hasselblad H1 & Canon 1V with Fuji 400 and Ilford 3200 and XP2 films. Processed by Richard Photo Lab. All that film goodness yum, yum.
Thanks for stopping by…!
