Bethesda Engagement Session Shot on Film | Carolyn & Glenn at McCrillis Gardens and Bethesda Country Club

I so enjoyed visiting Bethesda, Maryland to meet up with Carolyn & Glenn and to photograph their sweet engagement session! We started our time at McCrillis House & Gardens, which still looked lush and colorful with the last of the spring blooms. The park was quiet and serene, the perfect place for Carolyn & Glenn to get comfortable in front of the camera and for us to catch up. Afterward, they did a quick outfit change and then we headed over to Bethesda Country Club, where these two will be tying the knot later this fall. After we took a few more engagement photos, Carolyn & Glenn showed me around their wedding day venue and I got to see the ballroom where the ceremony and reception will take place. It is so beautiful...! I can't wait to document their wedding weekend, and to celebrate alongside all their friends and family!

Mount Ida Farm Wedding in Charlottesville, Virginia | Katie & Nick

It was an absolute delight to photograph Katie & Nick's Mount Ida Farm & Vineyard wedding in Charlottesville, Virginia! These two had such a sweet, meaningful day full of beauty and joy. Katie got ready in the lovely Mount Ida Manor--she wore a La Sposa Ray gown from Ellie's Bridal in Alexandria, VA and also wore her sister's veil, which is so special. First Look Artistry did a great job on all the hair and makeup, working quickly and making all the women look flawless! The bridesmaids each wore full length navy gowns from Weddington Way.

Nick and Katie had their first look in front of the Mount Ida Manor, between the boxwoods and with their bridal party peeking at them from the house. It was so sweet! Afterward we did portraits and a toast outside before these two said "I do" in front of the beautiful lake. The reception was catered by The Local, and Helen did a great job coordinating the day and keeping things flowing. The Duck Donuts were delicious, and LEGGZ did a great job keeping everyone dancing. So happy for these two and hoping I get back to Mount Ida Farm again sometime soon--what a beautiful location to celebrate!
